Import/Export Data Templates

Exporting and importing data import templates from/to a Unify instance lets you copy data from one instance and replicate it in another, saving time by eliminating the need to build a new data import template in the second instance.

Exporting a Data Import Template

  1. Open the Data Loading menu and click Data Import Templates.

  2. Click Export in the window's toolbar.

  3. Locate the template to be exported within the list of available templates and click the export button.

  4. Provide a location for the file and click save to export an XML document.

Importing a Data Import Template

  1. To import a data import template, click Import in the window's toolbar.

  2. Use the Select button on the ETL Template Import window to open a file selection window.

  3. Locate and select the template to be imported.

  4. Click the Import button to import the template into the instance of Unify.
